Bullfrog Taiko

“I love playing. I feel more calm going into class. I use all my energy on it so that’s why I feel more calm. Before I started I also wanted to do another instrument so that was a big win.” – (Young Person)

“Taiko is very empowering, I love the way it makes you feel. Not only does it help you relax, it inspires me and has changed my life. Taiko is amazing!” – (Young Person)

“Taiko helps me through bad times and really cheers me up. It also gives me the chance to learn new things and meet new people. – (Young Person)

Bullfrog Sings

“Using singing in the classroom helps children to regulate and settle ready to learn” – (Teacher)

“I get the opportunity to spend time with an inspiring group of carers exploring our voices through music ranging from Verdi to the Beatles! It’s a safe place to share, create, listen, and let go, and where we take an hour out for ourselves to offer support and friendship over coffee. We also sing at various events throughout the year to develop our performance skills and share our message.” – (Foster carer)

Bullfrog Instrumental

“I like everything that we do. It makes me feel so happy.” – (Young person)

“I enjoyed the music and I find it relaxing! I look forward to seeing everyone again.” – (Young person)

“A good way to create music with a catchy beat. It’s fun and entertaining all the time.” – (Young Person)

Bullfrog Business

Our young leaders project supports care leavers to continue their musical journey and opportunities to create and record their own music. They also provide key feedback which helps to shape the direction of Bullfrog Arts as a company and inform our delivery.

“It was really moving and fantastic for the young people to be able to play alongside such great musicians.” – (Foster carer)
